ACCIONA Energía hosts morning teas as a part of the small grants program

ACCIONA Energia was thrilled to host morning teas to celebrate and congratulate the recipients of the Small Grants Program. 

ACCIONA Energía recently hosted a series of morning teas to congratulate the recipients of our Small Grants program. Community lies at the heart of all ACCIONA Energía projects, and the morning teas highlight the community projects and the benefits that our grants can bring to the regions near our wind farms.

Erin Mulquiny, ACCIONA Energía's Benefits Programs Lead, was excited to meet the recipients of this year's Small Grants program. "We are honoured to offer continued support to the local community. Empowering community groups with the funds they need to make positive and sustainable change is so important and we're glad the Mortlake South Wind Farm has enabled us to do that," said Erin.

• The 2024 Mortlake South Wind Farm Small Grants and Scholarship Program resulted in a cumulative benefit of over $250,000 in grants and shared benefits funding since inception.

• The 2024 Mt Gellibrand Small Grants and Scholarship program marked the 12th year in a row that the program has run, with a cumulative benefit of over $600,000 in grants and shared benefits funding since the program’s inception.
